My son got me hooked on the Highlander: The Series universe. After reading fan fiction for a while, and editing for several authors, I decided to see what happened if I tried writing some myself.

Since these stories were posted, I have learned a LOT about writing. I've left them up in their novice writing style to remind me that I HAVE made progress in my writing.

I consider these stories like the kindergarten fingerpaintings Mom leaves up on the fridge long after the child has gone to college.

(For the record, "Foundations" morphed into a full-length, non-Highlander novel, "What's in a Name?" coming from Cerridwen Press.)
